Over the Summer, I went to the Renegade Craft Fair in San Francisco. This isn’t a googly-eyed knitted crap-fest craft fair. It is a gathering of talented artists and makers all in one indoor space. They have these Renegade Craft Fairs all over the country, so if you haven’t gone to one, go! They say it is a celebration of all things handmade. I say it is awesome and fun.
I plan to highlight some of my favorite artist from my last trip and the first one I’d like to fawn over is Peg and Awl. I immediately fell in love with their bags:
The company is owned by a husband and wife team- “Our work is made from olde things, treasures found and recovered from misfortune and neglect, relics of the unusual, the confused and the macabre, cut and pulled and built into wearable curiosities, inscribable keepsakes and useable, longlasting treasures. We used to make them for ourselves and now we make them for everyone.”
They make more that just bags, so be sure to check out their website and see all of the great products they so carefully craft. Happy shopping!Pin It
